How do you erase a matte board vs. a glossy board?

Erasing works differently for each surface due to their finishes, so here are the instructions:

✨ Glossy Board – The smooth surface allows ink to wipe off easily with a dry felt eraser.

🖍️ Matte Board – Designed for projection, it requires a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with glass cleaner for best results.

Do you sell only self-adhesive boards? I need a board I can move.

Yes, we specialize in self-adhesive boards designed for long-term use. 🏡✨ Our Sticky Boards can be installed on any smooth surface like MDF or melamine, making them perfect for transforming existing walls or blackboards into whiteboards.

🔹 Built to last – Our Sticky Boards are made to stay securely adhered for several years, ensuring durability and reliability.

🔹 Need to remove it? While they are not designed to be moved frequently, you can weaken the adhesive using WD-40. Simply apply it, let it sit for a while, and then carefully peel off the board to minimize surface damage.

Will the Sticky Board stick to my wall?

Yes, it will — as long as your wall is nice and smooth. For the best results, we recommend checking our installation guide before applying your Sticky Board to ensure your surface is compatible.

✅ The surface must be:
1️⃣ Smooth and clean – Free of dust, grease, or any oily agents.
2️⃣ Properly painted – Use matte paint and primer for better adhesion.
3️⃣ Dry and even – Avoid humidity, salt, poor wall finishes, or satin/semi-satin paints. The surface should not be porous, have holes, or be lumpy.

What type of markers can I use on my boards?

For the best writing experience and easy erasing, we recommend using the following:

🖊️ For whiteboards – Use dry-erase markers specifically designed for whiteboards.
🖍️ For chalkboards – Use regular chalk or liquid chalk markers for smooth writing and easy cleanup.

What kind of magnets can I use?

The best magnets to use are neodymium — they’re strong and stick great. Ferrite magnets work too but aren’t as powerful, so make sure their base is fully ferrite. Avoid tiny-base magnets or heavy fridge magnets, as they might not hold or could damage the board.

With that in mind, the fun will be endless! ✨

How do I maintain my Sticky Board?

To keep your Sticky Board in top condition, we recommend monthly cleaning with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with ammonia-free glass cleaner. This helps maintain a smooth writing surface and ensures easy erasing.

🧼 Tip: Always clean or replace your microfiber cloth regularly, as a dirty cloth can leave streaks or make cleaning less effective.

What if I use the wrong marker?

If you accidentally use a permanent marker or an incorrect type of pen, don’t worry! You can try removing the stain by gently rubbing the area with:

✅ Isopropyl alcohol (70% or higher)

How do I install the Sticky Board?

Installation Tips:

- - To check that the surface is smooth, gently run your hand over it and observe it closely. If you see small pores or notice lumps, the wall needs work. Otherwise, when you install the board, all these imperfections will be visible.
  - It can’t be installed on surfaces that have been recently painted (minimum 3 days of drying).
  - The installation of the board must be done on surfaces that have a minimum temperature of 59 °F.

Can I remove my Sticky Board?

Yes, your Sticky Board can be removed if needed. However, keep in mind:

⚠️ Single-use adhesive – Once removed, the adhesive loses its strength and cannot be reused in another location.

⚠️ Possible surface impact – During removal, the board may bend, and there is a slight risk of damaging the paint or surface.

🔹 How to remove it safely?
To minimize damage, we recommend applying WD-40 around the edges and letting it sit for a few minutes before gently peeling off the board.
